Mariette started her musical career as a guitarist in different band constellations both touring in Europe and on album recordings. She was therefore a skilled musician before entering the stage as an artist with her own songs.
She released her first album on her own label in 2008 and after being headhunted as an arena show guitarist for other popular artists in Sweden she got the opportunity to enter Melodifestivalen as a competing artist and went straight to the finale with a top 3 placement.
She has after that released many well known hits together with some of Sweden's biggest songwriters.
This all together has led her to being one of Sweden's most loved, respected and booked artists for concerts and live performances.
