Greek Cypriot, rising singer/songwriter Marilena is an Rnb/Soul artist making an appearance with her Debut single “Paint a Picture”.
Marilenas music journey started in the UK after her studies (BA (Hons) Popular Music) in Leeds Conservatoire as her sound has formed and influenced by the music scene there. Some of her influences include Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Beyonce, D’angelo, Victoria Monet, Raye and the list goes on. She eventually dropped two singles as an independent artist “Honest” and “Moving Forward” which have been played on BBC introducing and BBC radio one in the UK. She is now Based in Athens, Greece writing and performing with multi platinum artist Good Job Nicky. Producing music with the likes of prolific artists and composers such as Stavros Tsarouhas (Grammy Council Member), Jay Stolar (Eurovision writer for Marina Sattis Zari - 2023), George Moses, here’s teddy (Gold record producer) and many more.
Marilena has also collaborated with Evangelia, Good Job Nicky, Trey Qua and Connor Mullally providing them with BVs and melody lines for their own records.
On the 26th of September 2024 she had the opportunity to do backing vocals and perform in Royal Albert Hall with Good Job Nicky, opening for Konstantinos Argyros.
Marilena is always looking to expand her horizons and explore every single aspect of artistry through music and dance.
