Mario Armanino

Armanino, originally from the border city of Tijuana B.C., began as a bassist and composer in a rap / metal band in the late 90s. His attraction for electronic music took place at a Nortec event in 1999.

As a result of that, experimenting with: drum machines, samplers, filters, turntables, guitar pedals and Daws such as ableton, reason and acid, he is soon involved in the production and performance of live acts (2002). Since then he has formed projects such as: Hélice, Mithra, ADMNTM (with colleagues and guest musicians) and Armanino Live.

Avoiding falling into a single genre, his sets are unpredictable and unique, since he has the ability to read the dance floor and the audience, his sound could be defined as: hypnotic, energetic and always with surprise elements that is what distinguishes him in his presentations.

His music has been released on labels such as: Nëim, Who's Who, Mexa Records, Risky Behavior, Cohesive, LW Recordings, Mandarina, 400 del Sur, Disclosure Crew, Born in Mexico and Beatness Music with his project ADMTNM.

In 2020, he consolidates the Tijuanense label Beatness Music with his colleagues and producer friends from all over the world.

Currently he’s working along his cousins Edú & Wave Shift, with new alias Family Affair.
