Mario M. (El Rockero) is a bilingual Latin Pop Rock singer from NY.
His debut album as a solo artist titled "De un corazón a otro" was released in 1999 and spotlighted his song-writing and lyric writing proficiency as he wrote, composed and arranged all the music and lyrics, which incorporated Pop and Salsa with Música Romántica.
With the release of his 2nd Latin album "Rockero Soy", Mario M. decided to bring more of his other roots into his music and incorporated Rock and Flamenco into his Latino mix. "Rockero Soy" was released in May 2004 and once again spotlighted his song-writing and lyric writing proficiency, in addition to having produced the album.
After many delays due to many personal issues, including the loss of his beloved mother in 2009, Mario released his 3rd solo bilingual album "El Camino Espiritual" (The Spiritual Walk) in 2011. This album further expanded Mario's Rock Pop Latino mix of music, this time also incorporating piano and acoustic ballads along with Mario's emotional vocal style resulting in a powerfully moving album.
Mario released album #4, a Latin Rock Pop EP titled "Amar es Vivir" on April 2018. "Amar es Vivir" (To Love is to Live) features emotional songs about life, love and humanity. If you haven't heard Mario's music before, this EP is a great introduction to this wonderful Latin artist.
In December 2020, Mario released the fun and sexy "Camiseta", the lead single off his upcoming tropical flavored EP.
