Backed by her band on a backlit stage her voice will speak to your heart and mind.
She won’t demand your attention, but you’ll give it to her anyway.


Folksy country tunes, jazzy and playful pop songs, new wave rhythms – critics praised her debut album “Friendly Fools” (2010). Critic said her playful and light voice could make the summer last longer.

The debut album was followed up by the beautiful singel “Days” (2012) and the bright and happy EP “Birds a`chirping” (2016). In 2016 she released her first song in norwegian “Aleine, men ikkje forlatt”. Her music has been listed on radio and she has on several occations performed live on radio.


Over the last years Marjit has visited stages all around, from festivals in the norwegian mountains to stages in sunny California, from indiefestival in England to jazz clubs in Madeira. In Madeira she played with a group of amazing local jazz musicians, and her voice reached new tunes and feelings.


May 2019 Marjit invited to a very unique concert in a cave by the big lake Norsjø in Telemark. With her songs turned into arrangements with strings she and her fellow musicians made people smile in that cave. It turned out so beautiful the she simply had to record it. September 11th her EP “Try” will be released.
