Mark F.

A premature contact with music at the age of 8, allowed this Dj to create and develop his musical culture for years. With about 8 years of musical training and studies, Mark F. decided to follow the house music world, and by the age of 16, he made one of its first gigs in his hometown, Covilhã - Portugal.
Allied with curiosity, he followed the interest and obsession with mixing. Early he understood that would not be easy, especially starting with strap turntables, following the mythical Pioneer CDJ-100. He met some resident DJs and, at the end of the night, he started playing two or three songs after the main DJ.
In a short time, Mark F. became a resident in one club in Covilhã and started occasional gigs in other clubs of his region.
From then on, he deepened more knowledge of the house culture, having participated in some workshops on the improvement of techniques, however, according to him “It was during the gigs that I’ve learned the essentials because that's where the audience is, and we play for them".
Mark F. made some warm-ups at festivals and played in great reputation clubs as an invited DJ, in Spain, Germany, England, Mexico, and the US to show his work.
He also shared the cabin with some International DJs who helped him enrich his musical level over the last 16 years of his career.
Mark F. makes us want to hear more from him over and over again.
