Mark is a seasoned Multi-instrumental , Singer / Songwriter ,performer and entertainer. Often nicknamed as “Sergeant Trouser”as he has played in many bands including “Bricks and Mortar” and “Sergeant Trouser gaining much support as well as performing alongside Neil Murray, Keith Potger (The Seekers),Swannee , Chris Wilson and Alan Barnes with great live experience.
Mark’s released his debut EP “The Great Divide EP” as produced by Brian Canham (Pseudo Echo,Brill,Anthony Calea) and mastered by Martin Pullan at Edensound Mastering at Armstrong Studios in Sth Melbourne featuring 6 tracks on the CD .
The songs "The Great Divide" went to AIRIT /AMRAP chart No.1 in May 2010 for all Australian Community radio charts and was later included on The Absolute Country Compilation album in 2011.
His song "Heart's On Fire" was also popular and later released on the Musik Mayhem Cd compilation on 2014 and later 2020 to raise over $14K for the Project Brain Drain Initiative into research of fluid on the brain.
Mark has performed at various festivals, charity events, venues and functions across Australia.
These include: The St Kilda festival, The Basin Music Festival, The Peaches and Cream Festival in Moama, The Bendigo Sonic Blues and Arts Festival , Buckanbe Park Blues festival, Hawthorn Football Club 2007 /2008/2009 nominated in The Music OZ Awards in 2012, The Espy, The Prince Patrick Hotel, The Sporting Globe, The Prince Of Wales, Whole Lotta Love Bar, Fed Square and many more.
