Mark Riley Bio
2023 ECMA Nominated Mark recently released his second Album PM BLUE in 2022 after an award-winning CD titled “One Step” in 2020. Mark also released an Album called Classic Duets in 2021. Mark also has credits for a film soundtrack, another CD and 2 Compilation CD`s. Mark is also working on his second solo CD PM Blue to be soon released later this year.
Mark was born into a very musical family in Lake Loon, along with 9 brothers and sisters, just outside of Dartmouth NS singing and playing guitar in church and other gospel groups. Mark moved to Toronto in 1988 and continued recording and performing. Mark was featured with a recording group called “Triple Life” along with a few other groups.
Upon returning to Nova Scotia Mark joined the ECMA Award winning Nova Scotia Mass Choir as a Tenor and a Soloist. He then joined the Band Shoulder to Shoulder as a drummer. Mark also plays with the Mark Riley Project, The Mark Riley Quartet Jazz band, Shoulder to Shoulder Band and performs Gospel Music. . Mark has lived, loved, and epitomized music all his life, and is also known as the man with the bands!
