Mark Wind

Dutch composer Mark Wind's recent work includes the 2019 UK feature Homeless Ashes written by George Willcox and directed by Marc Zammit for Aptitude Films. His score won the Best Music Composer garland at New York's Pitch To Screen Awards which 'celebrates the creation and advancement of innovative cinematic works from both celebrated filmmakers and emerging talent.' A red carpet event at the iconic Lincoln Centre.

His first UK film, The Apostate: Call of the Revenant, was written and directed by Andy Dodds for Mangotree Films. He also composed the score for Christian Piazza's multi-award winning New York feature Documentary Waiting for which he won Best Score at the Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards.

He recently completed the music for writer/director Cyriel Guds' short drama Snitch which is released in Holland this spring. His forward slate includes the British feature. Primrose which reunites him with Marc Zammit in a drama about women's voting rights in Edwardian England as well as the music for Fireroot Studios' new video game Rogue Reaper: Awakening.

He has scored many highly regarded shorts including R.E.S. for Skylark Vision directed by Marc Zammit; The Curse for Jonathan Zsofi; Saudade for the UK's Reel King Media; Acceptance for the UK director Justin Groves; Haven, written and directed by Tim Porter; the award winning The Voice In The Head for director Cyrus Trafford; and Luc Vredegoor's Remain.
