I first picked up a guitar to play a song for my wife on our anniversary. That’s when I discovered the joy of connecting with people through music. My sound is rock with a positive vibe, and my biggest influences are John Mayer, Tom Petty, and Jason Mraz. My music starts from a place of poetry and creative inspiration, and I use my “rocket-scientist brain” to find structures that help me explore that initial burst of inspiration and feeling – like writing haikus, my favorite! My grandmother taught me to express myself through poetry and I'm thankful to her for setting me on this creative and expressive path.

I am a self proclaimed “math nerd” and I cultivated my “rocket scientist brain” by getting a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering, which heavily influences the way I write music. I like taking complex things, like emotions, and expressing them in a way that's easy to understand. Balancing my right-brained creativity with my analytical left-brain is part of my life-long journey; music is one more place where I can explore this balance.
