Marko Damian

Slovak rapper and R&amp;B vocalist Marko Damian was brought to a wider attention in 2018 by dropping his first singles under the <a href="spotify:playlist:5bvlV6d3OYuGqAs3d9z9p1" data-name="Comebackgang">Comebackgang</a> collective, founded by a fellow Slovak rapper <a href="spotify:artist:2U1l35agymGrBDFeMIxVLG" data-name="Pil C">Pil C</a>. Shortly after releasing hit singles <a href="spotify:track:4Fn7pyprSa0AuB3fXMEn8y" data-name="Rozhovory S Bohom">Rozhovory S Bohom</a> and <a href="spotify:track:37eJC7p99Hh3cRHd6fbanD" data-name="Mravce">Mravce</a>, his musical talent and versatility became very apparent.

In 2019, Marko released his first EP <a href="spotify:album:4Umt5txOdUFe9gFZoqAx0j" data-name="50 Westside">50 Westside</a> - the address he was residing at when he was finishing his University acting degree at The Royal School of Speech and Drama, in London. Followed by another EP called <a href="spotify:album:7xALbeKal0s32U5qJ488Bl" data-name="P.O.P!">P.O.P!</a> (Possessive Over a Person!)’’ in 2020, Marko introduces himself in a brand new light, as he seems to step aside from his typical crooning, and focuses more on the vocal and lyrical clarity. As a result, a more commercial success comes, especially with hit single <a href="spotify:track:0yBrKvuixpykdw4CCcr3tp" data-name="Dystópia">Dystópia</a>, produced by <a href="spotify:artist:3dzcCOztEhWYgB5msEXMKC" data-name="Nuri">Nuri</a>.

15th November 2021 dates as a debut album release - <a href="spotify:album:0NpyvM32GpIOuKDM4gWhUI" data-name="Blažená Nevedomosť">Blažená Nevedomosť</a> - consisting of 18 tracks including singles like <a href="spotify:track:5LSrmk8osJz7818eTwG5c2" data-name="OnlyFriends">OnlyFriends</a>, <a href="spotify:track:6bY8CpckaxIk37ThLo4i0Z" data-name="Otáča Sa Mi Svet">Otáča Sa Mi Svet</a>, or <a href="spotify:track:4mt0Qj3KtUm5X2rv5rDRLb" data-name="Vanilkové Nebo">Vanilkové Nebo</a>. <a href="spotify:album:0NpyvM32GpIOuKDM4gWhUI" data-name="Blažená Nevedomosť">Blažená Nevedomosť</a> became critically acclaimed shortly after its release and granted Marko his spot on Slovakia’s biggest summer festivals like Grape, or Uprising.

Released on the 2nd of February 2024, &#64;<a href="spotify:album:67cert3BRIaXt0PgGV9VmC" data-name="SKEETER">SKEETER</a> is the name of Marko Damian’s second studio album and it is his most commercially-successful body or work yet.
