Mar'laina (Kemp) Garland - aka Lois Lain is a talented artist with a passion for Soul, Pop and R'n'B. Throughout the span of her 15-years career, she had the opportunity to write tunes for performers the likes of Will Smith, Ru Paul, Ginuwine, and 3LW, only to mention a few. Her songs reached international audiences, and have been heard on mainstream televisions - from Pepsi ads to HBO shows and American Idol!
Hailing from Compton, Los Angeles, Mar'laina has always been a hard worker and a skilled songwriter. Today, she is mastering production, using software such as Logic and Pro-Tools, and she remains a member of B.M.I. Music broadcasting, AFM and SAG-AFTRA.
In addition to working on established and unsigned arists alike, Mar'laina also works on her own music!
