Marlinspike is a three piece Punk-Ska band from Walnutgrove, a suburb of Vancouver, B.C. They formed together in the summer of 2000 with Dave Monks on Lead Guitar and Vocals, Don den Braber on Bass Guitar and Nick Georgopoulos on Drums. They broke up in 2003 and Dave and Don tried to restart the band but due to creative differences that didn't work out. In 2004, Dave started the band by himself and slowly chipped away at Old Scores & New Horizons, released in 2008.
