Born in Milano in 1996, Marquis is an Italian producer, composer and DJ.
Self-taught, from his very first approaches to music he has been accompanied by the need to be able to range freely between the infinite worlds of music incorporating styles like funk, disco, wold music, psy-folk and Italian film music from the ‘60s and the 70’s with a wide eye open to the dancefloor dynamics.
From 2019 to 2022 he takes part in the production and art direction of several records in the Italian music scene such as: <a href="spotify:artist:0dus12DVjr0hoFaUDOz9B5" data-name="TOMMY DALI">TOMMY DALI</a> 's "Personale", <a href="spotify:artist:1hhYq9Huoi1NVi4BXkRBn0" data-name="Marianne Mirage">Marianne Mirage</a>'s "Mirage" and then released his first Producer album in 2022 <a href="spotify:album:2tZCA8ObC48RQhN5IRpsTo" data-name="Il Pasto Nudo">Il Pasto Nudo</a> which allowed him to play in the best festivals and clubs in Italy both Live and as a DJ.
In the summer of 2022 he discovers the Milanese jazz/funk group <a href="spotify:artist:1HVA7XWQZ5OZgJLhSaTDXA" data-name="Il Mago Del Gelato">Il Mago Del Gelato</a> of whose first EP "Maledetta Quella Notte" he takes care of the production and artistic direction.
Thanks to the results obtained with these records, in 2023 Marquis takes part, together with Marianne Mirage, in the composition of the additional music for the soundtrack of the expected Disney+ series "I Leoni Di Sicilia", based on the best seller of the same name and directed by Paolo Genovese.
