my earliest memories concerning music was my
parents waking me and my siblings up early
Saturday mornings playing all the Chicago
legends like Common, Ye, R. kelly, Chaka Khan
etc.

Earl Sweatshirt, Some Rap Songs
Kendrick Lamar, Section.80

section 80, the first album I memorized. with
vivid storytelling and beat selection it blended.
sonically, earl made me feel somber and declare
him as the best lyricist ever past and present.
ctrl was so raw and angelic it made me want to
sing more

The day before I moved to Georgia in 2016 l
released this song. I got so much love and I felt
euphoria that my music could reach beyond the
studio or beyond my city. It gave me all the
reason to make more music that can reach the
entire planet.
What's one of the most memorable moments
in your career so far?
being able to work with other creatives who are
just as curious and weird like myself being able
to put our boundless ideas on tracks that the
world will play for generations to come.
