The members of Mars Electric got together in 1996 in Birmingham, AL, under the name Wish. The group, inspired by arena rock performers, is a vehicle for the songs of lead singer and guitarist Jacob Bunton, who is supported by guitarist <a href="spotify:artist:1VCCN2ShKjeGif5h1aUQdU">Chris Simmons</a>, bass player Carl Hopper, and drummer Matt Finn.
