Marta dell'Anno

Artist

Marta dell'Anno

Last updated: 13 hours ago

Marta has been singing since she was three with her parents who are musicians and seekers of traditional Southern Italian music.
After her classical viola and violin studies, Marta moved to Barcelona, busking for a couple of years in the Barrio Gotico, enjoying the acoustic way of "building" a sound with no filters, the instruments were unplugged with no microphone for the voice.
Afterwards Marta moved to Paris, and met many musicians and comediennes, composing music for theatre and performing her songs in many ensembles.
She is also the singer and violist of the dynamic trio ‘Alfabeto Runico’ with longtime collaborators Andrea Resce (doublebass) and Nicola Scagliozzi (doublebass) , in the duo Tascabilissimo and Soap Trip.
