Martin is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from Redditch, England, UK.
The musical journey starting out in the 60's listening to big brother's record collection, and then getting his first guitar at the age of 12.
Joined the Brass Band at school and played tenor horn, then formed a covers rock band with school mates called 'Cool Velvet'.
In the 80's/90's, Martin joined his Brother-in-Law Colin Purchase in a new band called 'The Belief of Men', (influenced by The Cure, The Mission, All about Eve), writing mainly original material.
In the year 2000, Martin formed a covers rock band called 'Rodriguez' with local singer Pete Jones. Four great years followed until Martin left the band in 2004.
Martin then joined a 5-piece rock covers band called 'Risky Bizness' in 2005, Many parties and gigs followed, and for nearly 10 years this continued until 'The Riskies' disbanded. Martin is now playing in a classic rock covers band called 'The Kemastree Set', plus doing some collaboration work with local musicians. in addition, Martin is also writing musical compositions for his own personal satisfaction...Hope you like them.
