Martin Sharp has been releasing top-quality house music for more than 30 years. Starting with his first release on the legendary Om Records label in 1993, he has had many more tracks featured on top labels including Hooj Choons, Cream, Zulu, Whartone, Om, Plastic Fantastic, Phonetic, Renaissance, Motive Records, Whore House, Jeepers! Music, Cleveland City, Inner Sense Music and Lost Language. Today Martin continues to release music on some of the best house music labels.
As well as solo recording success, Martin's collaborations include First Life with Nick Hook; Paris & Sharp with Luis Paris; and Sharp & Krisis with DJ Krisis:
• First Life released the progressive house classic 'Be One Of Us' in 1994 – which was massive for Sasha – as well as two remixes of Dum Dum's 'One Earth Beat' featured on John Digweed's Renaissance 2 album.
• Paris & Sharp had a big club hit with 'Aphrodite' back in 2001, which was released on Cream and numerous compilations. It was a massive track for a host of top DJs – most notably Pete Tong and Seb Fontaine, who championed the track on BBC Radio 1.
• Sharp & Krisis are currently smashing the house scene with a plethora of releases being supported by top DJs.
Martin also continues to collaborate with his long-time studio partner Nick Hook on many fine releases - a partnership that has endured for 30 years.
