From the West Coast of Canada, Martina Stokes grew up surrounded by music. Born into a family of musicians, Martina started training as a classical pianist at age four. With a love for soul music and the Divas of music, she could be found at the piano singing an <a href="spotify:artist:7nwUJBm0HE4ZxD3f5cy5ok" data-name="Aretha Franklin">Aretha Franklin</a> song at any given time. A love for performing was instilled through theatre and concert piano and simply for anyone who would listen. Writing songs became a passion at a young age and was normally kept to herself, often recording songs on her keyboard in her room. Martina began her public recording career in 2021 and fell in love with the process, not looking back since.
