Martinik, London based Producer and DJ is known for his rule-breaking music with theatrical cinematic builds and fast basslines that give you a fat cheeky grin. However, Martinik's new album Parallax explores new avenues culminating in a multi-general showcase. Parllax includes genres such as house, electronic pop, drum and bass as well as Lo-fi. Parallax has many different influences from artists such as Friends Within and High Contrast to bassline artists such as Zero. Collaboration is at the heart of the album working with singers such as Levegh and Phoebe Parker and professional videotographers such as Tatianna Peckham. Parallax twists and turns between happy and uplifting tracks such as ‘Never Have I Ever’, hard hitting tracks such ‘Can We’ to melancholic tunes such as Reflection. This album takes the listener on one hell of a journey.
