Mary, born and raised in Nigeria up until the age of seven, came to live in the UK in 1996; She grew up and studied in London. Following her degree in Law from Queen Mary, University of London, Mary decided to enter the City of London in 2010.
She has held a variety of positions at various international Insurance & Reinsurance Brokers, culminating in her role as a Chief Strategy officer.
She is now currently involved in a variety of topics including parametric Insurance solutions, climate change, Blockchain, Diversity and Inclusion and much more. She has retained an interest in Africa and has recently been looking into the Insurance sector in Nigeria and how it can be developed.
Outside her City life, Mary has a deep interest for Music, both writing and composing. She leads a 5-piece band, playing as a keyboardist in her church of over 1200 people every Sunday. She has recently released her first written single called “strengthen me” and is currently working on her second single called “Thank you”.
