I'm Mary Ann Young, an award-winning singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. My passion is creating music that brings peace, healing, and inspiration, with my Christian faith at the heart of everything I do.
My music features contemporary Christian songs, moving ballads, uplifting praise and worship, and calming instrumentals. It also includes traditional and fresh versions of classic hymns, all designed to encourage and uplift your spirit. Whether you’re seeking a moment of quiet reflection, spiritual encouragement, or simply some calming sounds to ease your mind, I hope my music offers the comfort and inspiration you need.
Alongside my vocal compositions, I love creating instrumental arrangements that incorporate a range of instruments, including piano, acoustic guitar, and orchestral elements (crafted through my synthesizer), all designed to deepen the emotional impact of my music.
Some of my songs have earned international recognition, such as "Stay," which was a Semi-Finalist at The UK Songwriting Contest in 2023. My ballad "Where Birds Can Fly" was a finalist at the Great American Song Contest in 2019, and my song "A Great Big World" won multiple awards in the Christian/Inspirational category in 2008 and 2009.
