Mary Lovett is an artist, music producer and maker of immersive shows.
She creates driving electronica soundscapes underpinning ethereal vocals. Combining layered textures and hypnotic polyrhythms.

Her whopping 13 track album "I Heard The moon is in C" is coming out in the Summer 2023 with the single "Seven" released on May 12th 2023. I heard the Moon is in C is a collection of work that reflects her deep appreciation of an “ancestral line” of women pioneers in electronic music, the wonder of mathematics and the catharsis of expressing things in music that are too difficult to say in words.

This is music to immerse your self in and accept the invitation into a landscape of story and metaphor that is present throughout her collection ranging from folk to electronica.

Over the last two years her work has developed a common thread that explores her fascination with pianos as objects and the special place they occupy for playfulness, memories, meaning and loss. This has lead to the development of an interactive immersive experience called "The Story Of Things.” to encourage child like curiosity and playfulness.

This combines a musical automata called “Liberace Fibonacci” made from salvaged piano parts and a vintage stereogram with sound design triggered by digital sensors. The Automata and the Spoon Orchestra have since been integrated into live performances, providing an added level of jeopardy and unpredictability.
