Maryam Ebrahimpour (born June 1, 1968 in Tehran) is a violinist, qichak player and singer of Iranian Classical music. He is a member of the Kamkars band and a violinist at the Tehran Symphony Orchestra.Ebrahimpour married Arsalan Kamkar in 1991 and joined the Kamkar group. In 1992, he gave his first concert with the Kamkar group in Stockholm, and since then he has accompanied him in various concerts, including in the cities of Malm , Utahbury, Cologne, Falun Festivals, and WOMAD. He has also been a member of the Tehran Symphony Orchestra since 1373 and the violinist of this orchestra. He has also given solo concerts in Sulaimaniyah, Erbil and Dohuk in Iraqi Kurdistan.[2]
Among the works that Ebrahimpour has sung are Xak and Awin, the soundtrack of Christ's film, and the music of TV series by Ahmad Pejman, Majid Entezami and Babak Bayat.
