Masai Jr

Masai Jr, also known as Junior Van Gremberghe, is an artist hailing from Antwerp.

His music revolves around hip-hop/urban genres, drawing inspiration from various
musical influences. While he officially made his debut in 2016 with the track "Instant
Killa," he has been passionate about rapping since he was just twelve years old.

With his captivating and energetic performances, he never fails to captivate and enthrall
the audience.
Masai Jr's talent and charisma caught the attention of the jury at De Nieuwe Lichting,
particularly with his electrifying song "Pegasus," which propelled him to the finals.

In his own words, music is an integral part of Masai Jr's life, stating, "I personally
couldn't imagine living without it. Music allows me to convey what's in my
consciousness to people while having fun in the process. I embrace all styles of music
because, from my perspective, life is all about embracing diversity and variation."

An interesting tidbit about Van Gremberghe's stage name is that it pays homage to the
Masai, an East African tribe primarily residing in Kenya and Tanzania.
