Taking their name from an ancient Japanese battle axe wielded by the Yamabushi, or "warrior monks," Masakari are a crustcore/D-beat quintet from Cleveland, OH, inspired by usual suspects like <a href="spotify:artist:5SRhOM75OnwuXH8BmCxD5a">Discharge</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2gyZHlI5HIDctuCa2Crm2I">His Hero Is Gone</a>, and all manner of Japanese hardcore.
