Mascarada is a Latin psych rock duo started by Léana Courtney and Shawn Grindle. Their debut self titled record was released in May of 2017. Their musical influences range from Santana to Sergio Mendez and the Beatles. Their sound can almost be described as having souring, effect-driven Spanish vocals, on a bed of soulful Latin grooves, wrapped in a blanket of 60's psych rock guitars.
