MaschinenMusik is the project of German producer Karsten Alfermann (born 1964 in Paderborn, based in Hanover). His music is a blend of techno, trance, and house—chilled and danceable at the same time. The roots lie in the ’90s: reggae and soca bands, endless jam nights, bass as the heartbeat. In the early 2000s, he moved into the studio and began crafting electronic sketches. A creative hiatus in front of the canvas followed. Since 2022, MaschinenMusik has been back: emotional club cuts that work on the dance floor and linger long after the festival.
