Born in Sacramento and raised in East Palo Alto, his journey began behind a basketball and in the church’s youth choir—where music first stirred something deeper. Experimenting with Hip-Hop, Pop, and R&B through high school, Masethemessiah found his lane in the underground rap scene, channeling artists like Larry June, Earl Sweatshirt, LUCKI, and Kid Cudi
His debut, the raw and unfiltered “Unwanted/Unmastered” EP, set the tone for an artist unafraid to share every side of himself.
