Mashamplane is a Durban based Rapper, songwriter and an artist at heart who hails from the Hills of Avoca. Pulling from his roots in Rap, Rock and Alternative music, mashamplane started writing his own Raps and songs in 2016 as an emotional and creative outlet to decompress or as a way to express himself. After writing his own raps and songs for more than half a decade, he has earned a feature under the moniker "Simore" on a label known as GQOM OH! as well as working close with a GQOM OH! artist who goes by the name of Citizen Boy. Combining Drill, Rock and melodic influence, along with his own vocals. Mashamplane successfully been able to record music that can not be easily recognized anywhere and has earned him praise from Producer Elijah Yates Beats for the song 'Y.K.T.D' produced by BLVCK DBN. With hopes to take over the music scene in Durban and to achieve his goal of world domination, mashamplane continues to develop and grow as an artist drawing inspiration from fellow artist such as ANT the Artist and Detroye.
