Duality drives individuality. On one hand, Masio Gunz spits gritty rhymes without compromise. On the other hand, he flaunts a dynamic vocal range uplifted by towering melodies. His street storytelling cuts deep, while his hooks hypnotize. After piling up millions of streams and views, collaborating with everyone from Bizzy Banks to Uncle Murda, and building buzz independently, the Brooklyn native spotlights both sides of his sound and himself on his 2025 debut, Masey Baby [MNRK Music Group].

“There are two sides to me,” he affirms. “‘Masio Gunz’ is the street East New York side. ‘Masey Baby’ is my smooth and melodic softer side. I’m going to showcase everything in abundance though. After all my years rapping, the trials and tribulations, and everything I’ve gone through, this is who I am artistically right now. It’s also going to be the best music I’ve put out so far.”

He introduces the album with the incendiary single “Panic” featuring Jeremih. Produced by multiplatinum powerhouse Hitmaka [Megan Thee Stallion, Big Sean, Chris Brown], the track revolves around a tense loop punctuated by glitchy claps and heavy breaths.
