California native born and raised, Masta Steele born (Lamont Williams) was introduced to hip hop at a block party on the west side of Chicago while visiting family and fell in love instantly! His roots lie in the Golden era of hip hop which explains the Name True Skoo Musick. Masta Steele's delivery voice and cadence bleed passion and dedication to his craft. his lyrics reflect personal defeats and triumphs all the while making sure to drop gems and jewels for the hip hop community and world to pick up.
