Mati Estiga

Matias Estigarribia, known as Mati Estiga, is an argentinian musician and psytrance artist now based on Brazil. He started his musical studies at age of 6 and short after he entered the Carlos Lopez Buchardo National Conservatory (Buenos Aires). His skills allowed him to be part of the MERCOSUR International Youth Orchestra with only 11 years old, this being the starting point of his career.
He was part of important groups such as Orquesta Sinfonica de Avellaneda (AR) Orquesta Sinfonica de Resistencia (AR) and Orquesta Sinfonica del Bicenteneario de la Nación (AR). He was also a member of chamber groups covering all periods of academic music.
His versatility allowed him to integrate numerous ensembles of popular rhythms ranging from tango and folklore to jazz and rock.
His skill and talent were heard in venues such as: Tropentheater (Amsterdam), Zuiderperhuis (Ambers), Doelen (Rotterdam), Teatro Colón (AR) , Torquato Tasso (AR), CAFF (AR), among others.
In 2011, looking for a new fusion and a sound where he could combine and enhance all his knowledge, he began his DJ career, starting with genres such as house, trance and electro and later on fell in love with Progressive Psy Trance, genre that mainly produce now. He has shared the stage with Fary, Phaxe, Javier Bussola, Architect, The Big Brother, to highlight a few.
His music stands out with their epic melodys, powerfull basslines and psychedelics grooves.
