Matilde

Matilde is a Portuguese singer-songwriter. As an absolute lover of the craft, songwriting is at the core of her relationship to music. The artist’s songs capture different emotions, using music as a vessel for their expression. Matilde started learning guitar and writing songs at 15 years old and later on studied music in London for her Bachelors degree and, afterwards, complemented her creative study with a course of Music Production in Lisbon.

Since then, Matilde has been growing in her songwriting and pre-production journey, becoming more involved in every aspect of the music. She loves collaborating with other creatives and letting the music evolve from the ideas and excitement of the art, with the goal of creating authentic and passionate pieces.

Some of her favourite artists are names such as Taylor Swift, Jorge Palma, NF and Lizzy McAlpine. They are all masters of the craft and guided by their love for it, transparent in their lyrics and sounds, naturally inspiring this way.
