With a striking lineup of cello, acoustic guitar and drums/percussion/electronics, maTrigal blurs the boundaries between a chamber ensemble and contemporary band. Their sound merges contemporary jazz, world music, electronica and contemporary classical elements into intricate harmonies, driving beats, and complex polyrhythms. It's music that is both danceable and concertante. Formed at HMT Rostock, Gottfried Tadashi Forck, Raphael Gamper, and <a href="spotify:artist:01ceLXz9S5e3ueR8UUamLJ" data-name="Maximilian Wolfgang Schwarz">Maximilian Wolfgang Schwarz</a> combine their diverse musical roots to craft a singular sonic language. After touring Germany, Austria, France, and Italy, maTrigal is now releasing their debut album on August 21st.
