Dutch multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, producer, and sound engineer Mats Voshol is what one would consider a textbook example of a multifaceted artist. Having studied Jazz percussion at the Conservatoire of Amsterdam, his ambition to become a full-time Jazz musician, over the years, gradually took on the form of a broader musical outlook: his interest in other genres like pop, rock, and even theatre led to many experiences in creating and performing. Enjoying a classical jazz education from well-respected names of the older generation, he finds renewal in respecting that tradition through his musical skill set, yet synthesising it with creative freedom found in pop songwriting. His debut single, “Broken” signifies Fox’s embarkment on a new solo musical career.
