Matt Badger is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Seattle, WA. He's known as the drummer for many prominent Seattle bands (Ravenna Woods, Benjamin Verdoes, Seattle Rock Orchestra) but is only now releasing his own solo material. Matt's debut album, The Fold, was released November 17th, 2020 on Jenny Invert Records. Badger’s music combines the warmth and tenderness of M. Ward with the orchestral and lo-fi charm of Elvis Depressedly mixed with early Grizzly Bear. His voice transcends the indie pop of his Seattle homeland to add something new, bright and instantly classic to the Pacific NW soundscape.
