St. Louis born, Oklahoma raised, and (proud) Texan by choice, Matt Campbell is on a journey to write and share his own music. Inspired by the raw, heartfelt sounds of artists like Keith Green, Rich Mullins, and Jackopierce, Matt’s style is authentic and relatable, his music is prayerful and rich with melody, and his lyrics are thoughtfully strung together.
Matt is a worship pastor at his home church of Hillside Christian Church. In addition to music, Matt is an author. His first book, "Me and My Mom: Connecting the Dots of a Mother’s Legacy", is available on Amazon. He is also a regular contributor to a Substack called "baby & the bathwater."
Matt lives in Amarillo, TX with his wife, two daughters and dog (Ruby-girl). He enjoys working in the yard and gardening, working out and boxing, is a Sasquatch aficionado and loves being in the great outdoors (especially with a fly rod in tow).
