Born and bred in Southern California, Matt Egbert has grown up in a blender of different music. He grew up learning how to play blues and classical guitar until landing on electronic music at the age of 17. Since then house music has taken over his life. With releases on labels such as Do Not Sleep, Short Circuit, Desert Hearts, Percomaniacs & more, he has seen his music played out all over the world by the likes of Marco Carola and The Martinez Brothers.
 
In addition to writing music and DJing Matt runs Front Left Productions, a house & techno collective that has thrown events in cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City, and Miami with artists such as Ben Sterling, Sidney Charles, wAFF, Bontan, and many more.
