Matt Orenstein

Matt Orenstein is an LA-based composer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist.
A native of St. Louis Park, MN, he also has lived and worked in Oberlin, OH, and Chicago. He has worked with <a href="spotify:artist:6VLgumhBxADj5F95mnPE7R" data-name="Four Larks">Four Larks</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7Eo5yqhHiEtDPdToS6YFnE" data-name="Cones">Cones</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7hHfNvpy7tvyrl2nqSMBVW" data-name="Popular Music">Popular Music</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:02gTyc0k86mD1nbc7X2W9H" data-name="Le Tour">Le Tour</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1Kytaevw3xfR35imimNkaG" data-name="Sara Melson">Sara Melson</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6aelp72HTGVFwTJwtqEQJL" data-name="Occults">Occults</a> and many other artists, in addition to consistently composing music for films and series. Films with Orenstein&#39;s scores have screened at festivals such as SXSW, Cinequest, Mostra Sao Paolo, Chicago Independent Film Festival, Videoformes (Paris), and Slamdance Emergence. His album “Desiccation” will be out in late 2025.
