Matt Rise is the solo project of the Norwegian producer and multi-instrumentalist Mathias Risdal. After several years working as a producer for artists and also for various sync projects, it is only now that he releases his own music.

Through his work he has spent a lot of time exploring different genres which can be heard through his music. Although he takes most of the inspiration from funk, soul, jazz and alternative R&B.

After making “Falling in Love”, the song got placed in Joachim Trier's new romantic drama called “The Worst Person in the World”. That gave him the perfect opportunity to release his first song as an solo artist.
