Dallas based DJ and Producer, Matt Varela, has spent a majority of his life immersed in electronic dance music. Ever since being a kid, Matt has loved and appreciated music. He was raised on a wide array of music from Hip-Hop, R&amp;B, Rock, Pop, and his parents 70’s &amp; 80’s oldies. However, there was always a deeper connection with the electronic dance music genre that captivated him. At the age of 10, he was introduced to dance music by his father. At such a young age, he was familiar with a lot dance classics and artists including <a href="spotify:artist:2o5jDhtHVPhrJdv3cEQ99Z" data-name="Tiësto">Tiësto</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0SfsnGyD8FpIN4U4WCkBZ5" data-name="Armin van Buuren">Armin van Buuren</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4k1ELeJKT1ISyDv8JivPpB" data-name="The Prodigy">The Prodigy</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2CIMQHirSU0MQqyYHq0eOx" data-name="deadmau5">deadmau5</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4tZwfgrHOc3mvqYlEYSvVi" data-name="Daft Punk">Daft Punk</a>, and more. At age 14, he began to DJ and produce. The rest is history.

Matt Varela spends countless hours experimenting and creating new sounds almost every day. His tracks are solely based off life experiences and emotions. Despite having tracks on YouTube and SoundCloud from his earlier years of producing, Matt recently turned his focus to streaming platforms.

In 2021, he began releasing officially. His first song, “Emotions,” captured an emotional yet uplifting and energetic vibe that gave a foundation for his next hit releases.
