Sicilian virtuoso Matteo Mancuso, widely regarded as one of the most exciting young guitarists in the world, will release his highly anticipated second album, Route 96, on April 24, 2026, via Music Theories Recordings. The album features collaborations with guitar god Steve Vai, Gypsy jazz standout Antoine Boyer, and fusion multi-instrumentalist Valeriy Stepanov.
Mancuso’s breakout debut, The Journey, has surpassed 14 million streams and earned him cover features in multiple guitar magazines, where he has been hailed as the “World’s Hottest Virtuoso.” His rapid rise has drawn acclaim from guitar icons including Dweezil Zappa, Joe Bonamassa, Steve Vai, Al Di Meola, and Tosin Abasi, all recognising him as a formidable new force.
He has toured extensively across Europe, headlining venues and gracing festival stages, while performing alongside artists such as Marcus Miller, Tommy Emmanuel and Al Di Meola. In January 2025, Mancuso completed a sold-out U.S. tour, captivating audiences with his fusion of jazz, rock, and virtuosic improvisation.
Returning to the U.S. in January 2026, Mancuso will open with a main-stage performance at NAMM on the Yamaha Grand Plaza Stage, followed by a 27-date U.S. tour, before heading back to Europe for a headline run from April to May.
