Matthew Bay

Matthew Bay is a danish pop artist, based in Copenhagen.
Mixing his killer falsetto with gritty, modern productions, he creates what he defines as &#39;power pop&#39;. Mix a cup of <a href="spotify:artist:31TPClRtHm23RisEBtV3X7" data-name="Justin Timberlake">Justin Timberlake</a> hooks with <a href="spotify:artist:2qxJFvFYMEDqd7ui6kSAcq" data-name="Zedd">Zedd</a> synths and a <a href="spotify:artist:4tZwfgrHOc3mvqYlEYSvVi" data-name="Daft Punk">Daft Punk</a> bass line and you&#39;re somewhere close to Bay&#39;s sonic universe.

Raised by a jazz drummer, Bay has built his musical education on a broad variety of music. Everywhere from <a href="spotify:artist:3rxeQlsv0Sc2nyYaZ5W71T" data-name="Chet Baker">Chet Baker</a> to <a href="spotify:artist:3fMbdgg4jU18AjLCKBhRSm" data-name="Michael Jackson">Michael Jackson</a>. He&#39;s attended several music schools and plays piano, drums, guitar and bass.

Performance and physical expression has always fascinated the 24 year-old. At the age of 8, Bay attended dance lessons, reaching the European Youth Championship in hip-hop dancing at the age of 14. Dancing is a vital part of his live performance, as he move across the stage with every beat.&lt;br&gt;
