Mattia Farao

Farao Mattia, born on July 14th, 1999, is a young music enthusiast since his earliest years. From a young age, he approached music, starting to play the drums at the age of four, an instrument that had been played by his father. Mattia continued to dedicate himself to music in the following years as a self-taught musician, participating in various regional talent shows. At the age of eight or nine, he began his concert career as a percussionist in a wind orchestra, also performing on the Sanremo stage at the GEF Festival, where he reached second place internationally.

However, at the age of fifteen, Mattia approached a different instrument, the piano, to which he decided to dedicate himself fully thanks to his great passion for the instrument. At the age of sixteen, he began attending the "Stanislao Giacomantonio" Conservatory in Cosenza, where he is currently studying.

In May 2018, he participated in the XXI International Competition "Vincenzo Scaramuzza," obtaining the third prize with a score of 85/100.

Subsequently, he discovered a passion for music recording and production, which led him to embark on a long learning path in this field. He worked as a mix engineer for many national and international artists. In addition to working for others, in 2023 he started working for himself, publishing his own compositions in which he is also the sound engineer.
