After six months immersed in Amsterdam’s underground scene I felt the need to start over. Matt’s Experiment is my journey into house music, from vocal tracks made for house parties in New Orleans to experimental work inspired by the now-closed De School Club in Amsterdam.
My time in Europe inspired me to use analog synths and gritty textures, and the industry has noticed. I've opened for Cloonee, D.O.D, Gordo, Westend and more, while my recent unreleased tracks have been played by Max Dean and Jamie Jones at music festivals from Miami to Romania.
I've always been a tinkerer at heart, and enjoy painting, graphic designing, and editing visuals for my album covers, shows and social media, intended to match my music’s raw aesthetic. Thank you to my fans and supporters for helping me make it from my bedroom to stages in front of thousands.
