Matty Cent

Several combinations of heart warming vocals, mind blowing instrumentals, and melodic rapping, Lagos-born <a href="spotify:artist:0HyX7gBZafDGc6WnaGyVpe" data-name="Matty Cent">Matty Cent</a> broke out to his dreams at a young age of 16. Debut singles in 2020 with lyrics detailing &amp; reminiscing to his struggles, tuff upbringing, growing up not having much and lacking the basics he needed to survive in a middle class environment, it led up to the release of his <a href="spotify:album:69uA0mugfo07KrEwrozrZq" data-name="Better Days Ahead (EP)">Better Days Ahead (EP)</a> in February 2021. Matthias Alfred Ibrahim professionally known as &#34;<a href="spotify:artist:0HyX7gBZafDGc6WnaGyVpe" data-name="Matty Cent">Matty Cent</a>&#34; or simply &#34;Matty&#34; was born in the Mainland City of Lagos. Growing up chasing his dreams was quite difficult for Matty as he struggled hard to hit the studio with the aim of projecting into the rap game in the US. In his neighborhood, funny how many ceased not to believe he did his sounds due to his tone being different from regular top gone rap artists in the country he hailed from. Matty has been declared talented and different by his homeland Fanbase. Despite never been abroad he&#39;s sounds travelled miles resulting to 70% of his Fanbase being in the US. In early 2021 his drill-centered track &#34;<a href="spotify:track:38yQIuCdyTuUX1jrFTSiiQ" data-name="Sticks In Place">Sticks In Place</a>&#34; from his debut EP became his top charting track bagging thousands of streams across all music platforms.
Still coming up independently, he&#39;&#39;s best known for his melodic flow, drill sub genre rap and his music line on standing out and aiming bigger
He&#39;s currently not signed to a label but under a self management brand &#34;The Hood Prophets&#34;
