Max Huggins is a guitarist, composer, and arranger who started making music in a cramped dorm room in Seattle Washington in the early days of the 2020 pandemic. Inspired by artists like The Oh Hellos, The Pat Metheny Group and Julian Lage, he strives to make music that captures the beauty of the natural landscapes of his hometowns of Los Angeles, Tacoma,Washington and everything in between. His recent EP “ Summer Songs" attempts to capture some of his favorite locations in song form from his many trips back and forth between the two states. Having played alongside artists like Delfeayo Marsalis and David Beniot in his jazz ensembles in his upbringing, he is fascinated by combining his love for jazz, folk music, and film scoring into one vast musical landscape.
