Coming from a dance background and having graced a Broadway stage by the age of 13, Max has always reveled in the glare emitted from the spotlight. Taking musical cues from iconic influences such as Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and Drake, Joy's sound is similarly grand while enduringly charming. Max Joy’s debut single “Yesterday,” released in 2021 through Mecha Music Group and Unit 01 Recordings. The record calls on tropes from breakup songs reminiscent of Juice WRLD and The Kid Laroi, while singed with a boyish, yet mature exuberance. He prides himself on his versatility and aims to return with a few more surprises over the coming year.

As the youngest child in a family which Joy cites as unremitting inspiration, Max was always looking up for answers, but now, he's looking down from center-stage, and the crowd is calling his name.
